Janie did something very sweet tonight. I'm so glad my mom had my camera handy. Janie was sitting on Gammy's lap reading a book with her, and I was sitting on the floor next to them. Janie would occasionally look away from Gammy and the book, reach out to my face and give me a kiss on the cheek. There is nothing like a hug and kiss from your own daughter. I'll always remember it.

Janie loves turning pages. Opening and closing books is one of her favorite pastimes.

Janie was given a clean bill of health today! Life has never seemed better. Thank you, God!
New first this week! Janie ate in her high chair for the first time. She still leans a little, but she loves the independence. She loves her cereal mixed with carrots or squash. She likes to grab the spoon and help guide it to her mouth. She makes a mess, but it sure is cute! She laughs at peek-a-boo, much to her parents' delight.

Week 21 was a little rough, Janie was sick again and ended up in the hospital. Thank you, mom, for taking such great care of us during that terrible time and when John was out of town. We don't really have any pictures from that week we'd like to forget. We're thankful the Lord saw us through again and pray he keeps her healthy.
She's bounced back beautifully. She's as smiley and happy as she ever was. She's had her first fruit juice and her first green beans. She can hold her own bottle ( sometimes ), she laughs at peekaboo, daddy blowing on her tummy kissing on her cheeks and being flown through the air. She's a rolling machine and is starting to be able to spin herself around in her play center. Her new favorite toy is her right foot : ) !! Our sleeping schedule is still a little ify, but when she is awake, she's happy and playful! I'm amazed that she's more beautiful every day.

She's eating cereal, now, and laughing. She can entertain herself watching Baby Einstein, any football game, or standing tall in her play center. We're so proud, and we love her so much.
