Mimi dropped by this afternoon and brought some spring surprises for Janie. She loves them, and boy does she look cute in one of her new outfits! Thanks, Mimi!
Janie has had 2 milestones these past couple of weeks. She has TWO TEETH! (Bottom, front) and she can sit up on her own without support. It's so weird to be laying or sitting there beside her when she's sitting on her little bottom playing with her toys all by herself. It's her first real move toward independence, and we're so proud of her. I wish I could get a picture of her teeth, but she cries when I try to mess with them. They're still pretty sore, I guess. She's got an earache right now, but she's been to the doctor, and she should start to feel better in a day or so. I have spring break this week, and John is taking time off, too, so we have a week of family fun coming our way. I can't wait. I talked to my boss today about working part time next year, and he said he would try to make it work for me if he can. Please pray for us! I'm holding out hope.

Janie's pretty tough, but it's been a drag for her. It's hard to tell what was ear ache pain and what was tooth pain. She's doing fine, though. - Laura
I'm so glad you talked with him. I know how nervous you must have been. I can't believe she's already sitting up on her own. She looks like such a big girl in the first picture. I'm sure her toys all look new to her from the top.
